Last week we showed how Google added a products and services section to the local listings in Google. Now I see reports of Google showing a beta tab in Google My Business to add your own products. It seems related to what we reported back in August with a new products tab for the local panels.

Cordell Crowley posted in the Local Search Forums a screen shot of the new section named "Products beta" in the Google My Business console. Here it is:

You can see this gives you another way to add products to your local search listings. You can even arrange them by "product collection", so in this example we see a "fall collection" has been added.

Cordell also added a screen shot of what it looks like on the searcher's side, in the local panel:

Product Tab Mobile

I do not see this feature myself but I do believe they've been testing this since last August, as mentioned above.
