Google announced the other day they are closing their Site Search product, which is a paid internal search service. Keep in mind, the free version is still available and is not closing.

But DuckDuckGo and Cludo jumped on the news to promote their site search features.

Philip Anderson, the CEO of Cludo sent me a tweet:

DuckDuckGo also tweeted:

Again, Google's free service is still available and so is their new Cloud Site Search. AWS has a service, so do many other companies. But like I said, we use the free Google version here and it seems to work just fine. I personally use it all the time to find old stories.
