About a month ago, we reported that the new Google Adsense interface was rolling out but back then, you had to opt in to it. Now, in the next few days or so, you will be automatically switched to the new interface and if you want the old one, you'll have to opt out of the new one - instead of how it was, where you'd have to opt in to the new one.

Google said that in early 2017 they will deactivate the old one completely.

Here is a screen shot:

What is changing now?

  • If you haven’t tried the new UI, you'll be automatically opted in. You’ll still have the option to opt out.
  • If you're already on the new UI, you won’t be affected. You’ll still have the option to opt out.
  • If you've tried the new UI and opted out, you’ll continue to be taken to the current interface with no changes.

Google said "more than half of our active AdSense users decided to opt in, and nearly 90% stayed with the new UI."
