Poll: After The SEO Audit; Next Steps

Audit

Chris Green posted a few Twitter polls about what folks in the SEO profession do after the SEO audit is complete. The responses to the poll show that many times SEO professionals do not agree on implementation or maybe "it depends."

The polls were shared widely and voted on by a lot of people. The first poll had over 1,000 votes, which is big. Here are those polls:

As you can see from the first poll; the plan on attack after an SEO audit is done is to mostly fix things that are technically incorrect and also find changes you can make that would result in fast results in organic search. That makes sense to me.

Not everything that appears to be "broken" will result in a site not ranking as well as it should. So not everyone feels you should fix it if it is broken, but rather only fix it if it needs to be fixed.

Of course, the "it depends" answer is always useful for many questions, including this one.

Check out the responses to these polls in the Twitter thread as well, it is a good read.
