Google Omg

At the BrightonSEO conference last Friday, John Mueller was interviewed by Hannah Smith - and one thing she brought up that was new was that Google has an internal system to deal with big issues called OMG. The way the Q&A went with that question was kind of funny.

Here is the video of the Q&A, it starts at 3 hours and 45 minutes in for this specific question. It is quick, watch it:

Now, read the transcript I put together:

Hannah Smith: Can you just can you please just share with the audience what your your internal alert system is called?

John Mueller: No.

Hannah Smith: Oh. Come on. I'm gonna do it otherwise. I wrote it down.

John Mueller: No, you didn’t.

Hannah Smith: I did.

John Mueller: Oh my god.

Hannah Smith: I got a smiley face next to it.

John Mueller: Oh my god.

Hannah Smith: They've got this internal alert system at Google for stuff like this and it's called OMG.

It's that delightful? I was so delighted by this.

It's alright, I said that. The PR team, they can never put that on you. it's fine.

You see what John did there? Oh my god.
