Google: Evergreen GoogleBot To Get Chrome 76 Soon

As you know, Google pushed out Chrome 76 Tuesday, July 30, 2019 - or 9 days ago. The evergreen GoogleBot is still running Chrome 75. But Martin Splitt from Google said GoogleBot will be on 76 "very soon" and with that, also the tools will support Chrome 76.

Here is Martin Splitt from Google confirming GoogleBot will soon be running the latest version of Chromium:

In fact, Valentin set up a page to test when GoogleBot is on version 76 or gets any version upgrade. You can see that page at valentin.app/render.html - pretty cool!

We knew there would be a delay between Chrome upgraded browsers and GoogleBot being upgraded but we don't really know how much of a delay - so far we are at 9 days.
