Want to work inside a search engine? Well, this might be your chance. Microsoft is hiring a Program Manager for Bing's core ranking team. The job specifically AI Product Managers, who know a bit about machine learning.

Frédéric Dubut from Bing posted about this on Twitter and said " is hiring! We're looking for AI Product Managers who can bring their passion for our customers to state-of-the-art ML-driven product development. Please feel free to reach out to me if you're interested!"

Here is the job application that has more details:

The Bing Search & AI team needs strong PMs to lead a team of engineers and researchers to apply the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies to solve some challenging business problems for Bing and Microsoft. Specifically, the Core Relevance team takes state of the art research in query understanding, query rewriting, and ranking to deliver the best results for customer searches in Bing, Office, and across Microsoft.

While considering the trillions of pages on the internet, the Bing ranker decides which results to show for customer queries, many millions of times a day, in just a few hundred milliseconds. The Core Relevance team brings together capabilities in information retrieval, machine learning, user behavioral analysis, and metrics to improve search results, relying on a culture of experimentation and continuous learning. Our goal is to build an intelligent and global search engine that helps customers find what they are looking for faster and with confidence and trust.

In this role you will collaborate with ranking engineers, MSR researchers, UX researchers, and other teams to identify areas of opportunity where search results could be improved. With ample scope for creativity and technical problem solving, you will prioritize, and direct experimentation focused on tackling some of the hardest relevance challenges we face today.
