Google Smartphone Icons Now Testing Again

Back in August 2012 we saw Google testing smartphone icons in the search results and then they went away. Google seems to be testing that again.

Artem Russakovskii from Android Police spotted it in the wild, as have others, and he posted it on Google+.

I also covered this at Search Engine Land based on a screen shot from Brent Payne.

I can't imagine this sticking but who knows.
