Google Leaf Light Shields

Last time I was at Google's New York City office, I entered a zone where there were these leaves covering the top of the cubicles. It was a special team who preferred a more nature look in the office. But truth is, may designers like to work in darker rooms because of the screen glare issues with lighting. I assume these leaves help with that for these Googlers.

Richard Hay from Google posted a picture of them on Google+, I believe this one is in the Google Mountain View office.
