Before an observant Jewish individual eats or drinks something, they say a blessing, also known as a bracha. Depending on what you are about to consume, the bracha/blessing is different. I am not going to get into all the rules but it is not always that obvious what blessing to say before you eat something.

Joel Gedalius noticed that if you search Google for what the bracha of X is, Google may give you a quick answer at the top. Joel posted an example on Google+ but I wanted to share more.

[bracha for raisins]:
Google Answer: bracha for raisins

[bracha for radishes]:
Google Answer: bracha for radishes

[bracha for yogurt]:
Google Answer: bracha for yogurt

But it doesn't always work, here is an example of when Google doesn't give you the answer:

Google Answer: bracha

It seems the answers are being scraped from the Google+.
