Black Hat Forums Argue About Value Of PBNs

Google Links 640

A thread at Black Hat World, a public black hat forum, is having a discussion about the value of PBNs, public blog networks, in 2017. Specifically after the early February update that seemed to target spammy links.

There are folks in the thread that are claiming that the links no longer work for them. Some are telling those folks that they are doing it wrong and they left a footprint. Some are saying it si unrelated to PBNs and might be something else. Others are saying PBNs are a thing of the past.

The fun thing about these open black hat forums is that they are constantly mocking one another - well, I find that fun anyway.

The thread named "Is google killing pbns network after last update?" is now 3 pages long with lots of back and forth about the future value of PBNs in ranking in Google.

Of course, Google doesn't like PBNs and I am sure they have algorithms that try to demote or devalue such links.

Do you think PBNs will last through 2017 or Google will track them all down some how?
