This is part of the say something nice about an SEO/SEM series - feel free to nominate someone over here.

Jennifer Horowitz is 42 years old and has been in the online world since she was 23, 19 years in SEO. She lives in Toronto, Canada after spending a nice amount of her professional years in California. She has been contributing to the space for as long as I can remember.

She writes contributed articles at industry sites, such as Search Engine Journal. She has co-authoried books, and has made outstanding and lifelong relationships with industry peers. She doesn't just focus on SEO, she is a completely full service digital marketer with years of experience and knowledge - all of that she is willing to share with the industry.

Jennifer Horowitz Bio: I’ve spent 19 years marketing online. Web design, SEO, Social Media, copy writing, split testing and conversion rate optimization have been my prime focus. I've run ad campaigns, created brand stories, devised loyalty programs and created successful lead acquisition and nurturing campaigns. I was lucky enough to combine my passion for teaching and SEO for a couple years and have run hundreds of webinars. I have a passion for the psychology of human behavior and that coupled with data drive my strategies.

Favorite thing about the SEO community? I have been lucky enough to get help and support every single time I've reached out to someone in the community. I've watched us come together to celebrate each other and mourn each other. I've given and received and I have friends that are some of the funniest, most brilliant and kindest people I've ever met. My favorite thing about the community, is that we are a community.

One piece of advice to the SEOs out there? Don't overpromise, too many business owners are sinking too much money into campaigns that are not going to deliver the results they need for the money they put in. Be confident, shoot for the stars, give it your best shot - all of that. But keep it real. It's the right thing to do - and it will earn you life long customers. It's the best way to build a business that thrives.

Favorite things in general? Favorite thing to do. Hmmmm. Create. Could be a story, an ad campaign, a woven wall hanging, a meal, a painting, a craft, a new friendship. Creating food, happiness and art, friendships and successful campaigns - it's exciting and it's always different. Food for the soul.

What you want to be known for in the SEO space? A connector - someone that make introductions, shares knowledge - someone who connects the dots and helps people achieve what they want. That goes for clients too - connecting them to their prospects, connecting their goals and consumer needs to create sales. My work - and my life - are about connecting and creating.
