Dana Lookadoo

As you already know, the industry lost a shinning star a month ago - Dana Lookadoo is no longer with us. She has touched the industry like very few have ever, want proof, just go through some of the pictures in her Flick album.

The industry is trying to give back, in her name. Mostly powered by Alan Bleiweiss but the whole industry is behind it.

They set up the Dana Lookadoo Memorial Scholarship Fund at danasfund.org. At SMX, PubCon and other conferences, the conferences and industry has been promoting the found. It is the little we can do to hold on to her and to hopefully put a smile on her face, while she looks down.

The Dana Lookadoo Memorial Scholarship Fund (Dana’s Fund) is a not-for-profit entity created in memory of Dana Lea Lookadoo, one of the most well loved, and well respected members of the online marketing professionals community.

It was Dana’s wish that this fund be created in order to help ensure truly deserving young men and women who have a passion for marketing, founded in a sense of making a positive impact on the world, be given an opportunity to begin or further their education in the field of multimedia and/or digital marketing.

You can donate over here.

Dana, we all miss you.
