Google Image Search Action Buttons Are Missing For Some

Since last week, a bunch of searchers have been complaining that Google Image Search is missing the action buttons, i.e. view image, view page, share this image and other buttons. The buttons show up typically when you click on an image but for these searchers, when they click on an image, it is taking them directly to the site that hosts the image and not showing any of those buttons.

The complaints are in this Google Web Search Help thread and has been increasing in the number of complaints over the past week. Personally, I cannot replicate this bug and it seems like this is impacting multiple browser types and operating systems, so it is unclear how one can replicate this bug.

Some say that when they clear their cookies or reinstall their browser, it fixes the issue. While others are saying it has not fixed their issue.

Here is what you should see after clicking on an image:

It might be malware or a Google bug or something completely different. Google has not responded to the thread yet.
